Terms and Conditions

Effective date: November 3, 2026

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of powerupgen.com and the information, quotes, and services provided by Power Up Generator Solutions Inc. (“Power Up,” “we,” “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax ID 33-1354240. By using this website or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What we do

Power Up is a factory-direct authorized equipment dealer. We supply home standby generators, portable generators, and solar and battery backup equipment. Power Up does not perform installation. Installation is performed by independent, third-party licensed contractors who are not employees or agents of Power Up. Your installation agreement, including its scope, price, schedule, permits, workmanship, and workmanship warranty, is between you and the contractor.

Information on this site

Content on this site, including sizing tools, cost ranges, utility and permit information, outage history, and guides, is general information to help you plan. It is not a quote, a professional engineering assessment, or legal advice. Local codes, utility rules, and site conditions vary. Your installer and local authorities have the final say on what your project requires.

Quotes, pricing, and availability

Prices, cost ranges, and estimates on this site or given by phone, text, or email are estimates until confirmed in a written quote. Quotes are based on the information you provide and may change after a site assessment. Equipment availability, pricing, and specifications are set by manufacturers and may change without notice. We may correct errors in pricing or product information at any time.

Orders and payment

Equipment orders are confirmed only when we accept them in writing and receive any required payment or deposit. Financing is provided by third-party lenders, such as Synchrony, under their own terms, and approval is subject to the lender’s decision.

Warranties

Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, as stated in the manufacturer’s warranty documents. Workmanship on installation is covered, if at all, by the installing contractor. Except for those warranties, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, Power Up provides the website and its content “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Safety

Generators and backup power systems must be installed and operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes. Never run a portable generator indoors, in a garage, or near windows, doors, or vents, because carbon monoxide can kill. Never connect a generator to home wiring without a properly installed transfer switch or interlock.

Text messaging terms

By texting our line at 816-785-1268 or giving us your mobile number with a request, you agree to receive text messages from Power Up about your inquiry, quote, and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Power Up is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of power, use, data, or profits, arising from your use of this site, any information on it, or work performed by independent contractors. Our total liability for any claim related to the website or our services will not exceed the amount you paid Power Up for the equipment or service giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
