Install Partner FAQ
Do I need generator experience to apply?
No! We provide comprehensive factory training on all brands. If you're a licensed electrician or plumber with solid fundamentals, we'll teach you everything specific to generator installation.
How are install jobs assigned?
Jobs are assigned based on your service area, availability, and brand certifications. You can set your own schedule and accept or decline jobs. Top-performing partners get priority on new leads.
What does the pay structure look like?
Install partners are paid per job based on the scope of work. Typical residential installations pay $2,000-$4,000 per job. Commercial jobs pay more. You're an independent contractor, not an employee.
What areas are you looking for install partners?
We're actively seeking partners in Kansas City, St. Louis, Tampa, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Springfield MO, Arkansas, and New Mexico. If you're in another area, still apply — we're expanding.
Can I still run my own electrical/plumbing business?
Absolutely. Most of our install partners run their own businesses and take Power Up jobs as supplemental income. There's no exclusivity requirement.
